Emberlin

Emberlin carries that same mission into a larger ecosystem — Studios, Publishers, Academy, Foundation, Licensing and Experiences — where stories become intellectual property, platforms, learning and impact.

Milestones

  • 2008 A vision of a stage, a golden microphone and a world turned pink and purple.
  • 2021 That vision returns — and the Pink and Purple Foundation begins.
  • 2026 Emberlin’s Strategic Blueprint sets out the decade to 2036.

Where it began

A golden microphone.

At fourteen, walking home through tall winter grass, Farai had a vision: everything turned pink and purple, and she stood on a stage holding a golden microphone — a girl who had felt she had no voice, being told she could speak.

The vision returned in 2021. It became the beginning of Pink and Purple — and its echo runs through Emberlin today, in a studio, an academy and a podcast built to hand young people the microphone.

What drives her

A bold mission

As a mother, survivor and advocate for change, Farai’s lived experiences shaped a bold mission: to build safe spaces where children, teenagers, parents and communities can heal, speak, grow and lead.

  • Healing Safe spaces to speak, be heard and recover.
  • Education Knowledge, skills and confidence for the next generation.
  • Storytelling Stories with the power to change lives.

How she leads

From media and education to advocacy and community transformation, Farai leads with purpose, compassion and an unshakable belief in the power of stories to change lives.

This is not just a letter. It is the beginning of a legacy.

With purpose & power,

Farai Juliet Magada

Every story deserves a voice.
